PUBLISHER'S CORNER

For the second day in a row your morning eNews has been an afternoon missive and for that, especially for you early risers, I apologize.

Today I spent an hour on the phone with Xfinity, same as yesterday. And same as yesterday they had no resolution for me. It feels like there is something blocking me from using my own news site from inside my house. No problem from my downtown office.

After the fruitless call I went outside and sat in the backyard and found that my phone was accessing the Ink Link, no problem. So I walked back inside, turned off my wifi and used my Verizon hotspot and WA-LA! Here I am updating the site and writing this self-serving explanation to you.

Tomorrow the Xfinity tech is coming to my house. I am so curious to find out why neither me nor Jim can get to manchester.inklink.news or nashua.inklink.news from inside our house, me on my Macbook and Pixel phone and he from his Chromebook and iPhone.

Tinfoil hat is on standby.

Have a great weekend!

State response to leaf-peepers gone wild weekend
If last weekend could be summarized in one caption it would be something like, "The problem with peepers," or "How to handle a horde of hikers." And that caption would go perfectly with a photo that has circulated far and wide around social media, snapped by Tamara Breau, an experienced hiker who couldn't believe what she was seeing on Artists's Bluff Trail last weekend.
