PUBLISHER'S CORNER

Well the LA Dodgers won the World Series and I had the presence of mind to snap a photo last night from my TV - other than that I didn't feel a thing. When your favorite team isn't in the game it's an entirely different viewing experience. At least, for me. There's no tension or emotion as the last few pitches are tossed. But in the bigger picture, it was one of those great "comeback" wins - they were at one point down by five runs which can be hard to recover when you're playing against the other best team in baseball.

If you're like me you have at least two teams you cheer for - mine are the Phillies and the Red Sox. And while I was hoping the Phillies would do better this season, one thing I've learned in life is that you can't win them all.
