I'm kind of a morning person, in that I am up early, but not actually a participant in the morning ritual that commuters share. But there are days when I'm up with the sun because I have to be some place, and on Friday I was rewarded with a sunrise to beat all sunrises, or so I suspect (since I am not up to see them on the regular).
|
As one who has lived long enough see a lot of sunrises (and sunsets) I don't think there are many other natural phenomenons that move me in this way. It's because they are random and no two are the same. It's because they remind me that we are a planet that depends on the sun, and that no matter what happened yesterday, the sun will rise again and a new day dawns and with it, a new day of possibilities.
