PUBLISHER'S CORNER

We've arrived at The Beaver Moon which, according to the Farmers and their Almanac, will be at peak illumination on Friday, November 15, at 4:29 P.M. EST. That is this afternoon, folks.

This is the final supermoon of four consecutive supermoons of 2024! This means that it will appear bigger and brighter than normal! The Farmers have info about what it means to be a Supermoon here.

Funny but I never herad of supermoons in my life until the past decade or two. Did they not exist before? Did we just start super-sizing the moon - like our fries - because the regular moon wasn't super enough? And are the beavers the only ones right now tucking in for the winter by the light of the moon?

So many questions that have no real consequence. Welcome to my head.

But my point is that I will be looking at the moon this weekend, marveling at its supersize, and thinking about how to make the most of another season of life on this dependable earth, where moons rise and fall and grow and shine like clockwork.

Have a great weekend.
