PUBLISHER'S CORNER

I got some free tickets to Chunky's due to some issue with their membership club I am not sure I totally understand but I'm hoping that "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot" comes through the theatre because it sounds like an ispirational movie.

I only just read about it but it chronicles how a small town in Texas back in the 1990s that collectively adopted 77 "hard to adopt" children after a pastor adopted two kids and urged his congregants to do the same. It's not a documentary but the pastor, when interviewed following the July 4th release, said it felt like deja vu watching the film, so it sounds like Hollywood didn't mess it up too much.

These are my kind of stories - not only inspirational but prove that humans can find a way to do the right thing - and inspire others.
