PUBLISHER'S CORNER

No, this isn't deja vu but please do not tell my husband about the guy in Scotland who built a "bicycle canoe" by hand so he could perform adventurous feats for charity.

You see, in addition to building things out of wood pallets, Jim is also big into bikes and he happens to own a kayak that he's never actually gotten to use, so the temptation to work his Dr. Frankenstein magic on it might be strong.

The story itself is getting a lot of attention. though. Scottish guy Ben Kilner is raising money for a charity called A Leg To Stand On, which provides prosthetic limbs for children in developing countries across the world. His journey of 150 miles over land and water is going to take about 9 days.

You can follow his adventures via Facebook.
