I'm not here to tell anyone what to do but I just read a story about a Welsh woman, Sarah Vincent, who won movies for life for her baby daughter. How? By giving birth to her in the lobby of the local cinema.
After reading the account of the "blockbuster" event, my mind started reeling. I mean, come on. I'm not suggesting it was a deliberate move but if this is how things work in Wales, I know what I would do next time I'm about to drop a baby bomb. That's right: I'm going to the nearest grocery store so I can score free food for my baby for the rest of her life.
I mean, what's the likelihood that "cinema" will even be a thing in another five years? I'm trying to imagine Lowri at the Welsh cinema in the year 2104 on her 80th birthday trying to cash in her Cineworld lifetime movie ticket. What will that even look like?
Is there a monetary value to her lifetime of movies - if I were her mum I'd probably just ask for the cash.
Sarah Vincent could have gone in any number of directions if you think about it – jewelry store, hairdresser, car dealership. Instead she went to see a rescreening of "Sing 2" with her parents and 3-year-old and, one thing led to another.
I at least hope she had the presence of mind to negotiate for bottomless popcorn and all the Raisinettes a girl can eat to go along with the never-ending movies.

The New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation, under Secretary of State David M. Scanlan, has issued an Order to Cease and Desist against Finstate Investment LLC. The order alleges that Finstate is defrauding investors through a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment website that solicits funds and displays fictitious account activity, misrepresenting fact and making an illegal guarantee against risk of loss.

Even with current protections in place, approximately 400 evictions occur every month in New Hampshire. We need that number to go down, not up. It's clear that urgent legislative action is needed to protect renters. We cannot ignore the human suffering caused by policies prioritizing landlords' interests over tenants' rights. The time for action is now.Â
