My hubby, who is now old enough to ride a city bus for just $1, likes to say he's not getting older - he intends to get younger.

Turns out Jim's not the only boomer defying the circle of life. Retirees surveyed in a recent Harris poll said they are "aging backward" and feeling more full of life than ever— a majority of respondents (60%) say they have, or will, undergo "retirement reinvention"— stepping into a completely new version of themselves during retirement, turning hobbies into full-time endeavors.

The reason many boomers are living it up with travel plans and kicking up their heels is because they felt they worked too hard in their younger years.

I totally hear that. We do feel like life's too short not to have a good time!

But, there is a downside.
|
Because boomers are ditching work early to live their best lives, many of them are putting themselves in some financial trouble.
|
Also relatable, but we're hoping we can figure out a way to have it all!

The Factory on Willow invites the community to a Photography & Kinetic Sculpture Art Exhibit on September 5, featuring a unique one-time showcase by traveling artists Ray Chang and Adeyemi Adebayo.
