I can't complain. There are zero seeds in my lemons. Yes, I've been buying the seedless ones and they're truly life changing. For my entire life, no matter how meticulously I was about extracting seeds from my lemons, there were always seeds hiding in the depths of the lemon. Inescapable, they'd come out of nowhere and land in my tea or the spinach layer of my eggs florentine or whatever dish I was sprucing up that needed citrus.

I don't think I want to know how they have achieved seedless lemons.

I am sure I will pay for this miracle somehow in the future. But for right now I am embracing them. They are joy.

On Tuesday, September 10, when the polls in New Hampshire were open for primary voting, 1269 Cafe directed its usual lunch crowd toward another location while a taco truck and an ice cream truck sat in the back parking lot.
