State Police continue to collect unwrapped toys for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots Christmas toy drive.
NH State police have arrested a juvenile in connection with an early-morning robbery Saturday at the Hooksett Tolls rest stop.
The arrest report reads a little like an episode of “Breaking Bad:” Three people arrested for plotting to break into an impound lot under cover of night to retrieve “stuff” from an impounded Pontiac Aztec (like the one driven by Walter White in “Breaking Bad,” incidentally) which had been towed there by State Police on Jan. 1, after police suspected the driver of illegal drug activity.
An autopsy will take place Tuesday.
During her 20 years with the State Police, retired Trooper Carrie Nolet said she was subjected to sexual harassment and gender bias in a “good-old-boy” culture that so severely intimidated her and other women that she still suffers from anxiety and depression two years after retiring in 2013.
After approximately 45 minutes Fries was located and again failed to comply with Troopers commands, at which time he was taken into custody by the police dog, sustaining minor injuries to his left arm in the process.
