Historic park meets contemporary face lift in Manchester’s Center City with a colorful Central Little League mural unfolding this summer. A grand unveiling and citywide Multicultural Festival is happening at Sheehan-Basquil Park on August 17 from 11a.m.-4 p.m.
I was incredulous at the detail and realism Barbara achieved. And by minimizing color, she invited the viewer in to use their imagination and become almost a collaborator in the work.
“To have other individuals believe in what I am creating helps reinforce my conviction that I am on the right path,” says Clive. His award-winning paintings are a series of self-portraits brimming with honesty, candor, and a sense of humor. ”I believe my work should be honest, compassionate, and vulnerable with a bit of dry humor,” he adds.
Manchester Arts Commission is currently accepting applications from artists wishing to display their work at City Hall this year.

Student artists reflect on their personal journies and the inspiration they feel exploring the arts as they navigate life in Manchester.
We began with a conversation about what is diversity and what are the elements that make up our cultures; our everyday experiences, as well as things that are important to us. We realized that, despite our differences, we all had some connection to nature. This link came in part from simply being human, it makes us automatic participants in the world’s biodiversity. It also stemmed from our personal interests and experiences.
Following their highly successful run at The Hatbox in 2021, Ro Gavin Collaborative Theatre (RGC Theatre) is proud to present Theresa Rebeck’s dark comedy, “Seminar” at The Players’ Ring Theatre from September 9-25.
