Of all the places I’ve visited for this column, this one felt the most yet like a second home, conjuring the Cheers theme song line “where everybody knows your name.” While I was there I heard the bartenders greet many clients by name.
Nashua’s western-themed Lost Cowboy Brewing Co. is emphatically a restaurant first. The brewery portion is an intentional effort to try something new, with a willingness to take feedback, adjust accordingly, and continue to improve.
Comfortable space, deeper than wide, bar at the back w/ maybe 8 stools. Plenty of tables, some high tops, some low. Soft chairs near the front.

Anyone who’s seen one will recognize a Kelsen beer. A 16-oz. can sporting a cartoon-ish, axe-wielding Norse warrior on the label; an equally World-of-Warcraft inspired dwarf on another. They stand out on the shelf.

Ancient Fire Mead and Cider announced Aug. 7 they have selected the Queen City as the location for their new craft beverage venture. The 2,700 square-foot warehouse space, located at 8030 South Willow St., is slated to feature a production facility and a tasting room that will serve Ancient Fire beverages and a light menu.
