Winterfest is nine days (Feb. 23-March 3, 2019) covering the school February vacation where organizations, businesses, and local non-profits offer free and reduced cost events, programs, and activities for youth and families throughout Manchester.

Mayor Ted Gatsas delivered his seventh budget address on Tuesday night at City Hall, starting off by calling out the state for “downshifting” expenses to municipalities, and pointing out a funding increase in the proposed school budget.
“This evening I stand before you full of pride. Full of pride for a city that accomplishes so much in different ways every single day. In the past year alone so much has happened in this city, so much pride we have to share and more importantly we have seen Manchester lead the way.”
