Thanks to a heartfelt commitment to assist those who served our nation’s military, New Hampshire Housing and M&T Bank have coordinated with Easterseals NH to provide key financing to provide the funding to construct an affordable housing complex for veterans at the site under development in Franklin.  New Hampshire Housing allocated the project about $7 million in Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credits of which M&T is purchasing to facilitate the redevelopment of the 15-acre Daniel Webster Farm Campus and transform it into a residential and program center for veterans and their families.

I don’t often write these things in real time, but today I must. It’s 10:08 a.m., Monday, January 8, I’m sitting inside the Warriors@45North* bunkhouse, a space I’ve never been in alone. After talking with Doc and Chief this morning, I came in here, started the fire and now I wait. For what? I don’t know.

Farnum Center North in Franklin is ready to welcome 10 new clients into the newly opened “Ray House,” named in honor New Hampshire’s well-known and generous restaurateur, Alex Ray, of the Common Man Restaurant chain, who donated $100,000 to help with the project.
