Manchester Fire officials are investigating a series of small fires that happened Wednesday Nov. 6 within a small window of time in similar locations – the area of Rimmon Acres and Waterford Place.
A fire destroyed a Clay Street garage but firefighters managed to save the house next to it.

There were no injuries reported. However, the heat and humidity required frequent rotation of personnel. A second alarm was called to bring in mutual aid to assist Manchester firefighters.
Fire officials say sprinklers were vital in containing the fire to the 18th floor.
Six people were displaced due to a fire at 310 Amherst St. Saturday that was quickly extinguished, preventing further damage to the four-unit apartment building.
