Tails of the Week 🐾 Darbster Rescue

Darbster’s weekly feature highlights animals that have been overlooked in New Hampshire animal shelters.

If you enjoyed this week’s full moon, you’ll want to meet Luna Bella—Italian for beautiful moon. True to her name, this sweet, snuggly terrier mix with a heart-shaped face will shine light into your life.

Luna Bella, a 4-year-old terrier mix, is available for adoption at Darbster Rescue. She is currently staying at the Mall of New Hampshire in Darbster’s storefront, located just outside of Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Luna Bella knows that she’s special, so it’s best if she’s the only dog in your home. However, she loves making friends with humans! When she does bond with another dog, she likes to wrestle, play, and make noise. Estimated to be about four years old, she’s very well house-trained and will speak up when she needs to take a break outside.

To meet Luna Bella during Adoptober, stop by Darbster’s storefront in the Mall of New Hampshire: 1500 South Willow Street in Manchester. Darbster is located near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Much like her namesake in To Kill a Mockingbird, Scout is quirky, independent, and deeply loving. When you meet Scout, you’ll notice her soft, sweet meows and the adorable crook in her tail.

Scout is a 4-month-old kitten available for adoption at Darbster Rescue. She is currently staying at Darbster Kitty, located at 332 Kelley Street in Manchester.

At only four months old, Scout is a kitten searching for the purrfect family. Her charming personality helps her make friends very easily among humans and other kitties—but she’s not a fan of dogs!

Does your home have a sunny window with kitten naps? If so, you might be that purrfect person Scout has been waiting to meet.

About Darbster: Established in 2009, Darbster Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to reduce the number of animals euthanized in the Southern United States. Darbster identifies adoptable animals in “kill shelters” and transports them up to New Hampshire to find their happy fur-ever homes. Both cats and dogs are available, and Darbster operates three no-kill adoption facilities in the Granite State—two in Manchester and one in Chichester. Learn more about Darbster here.
