Officers from the Methuen ย Police Department as well as Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police immediately responded to the area and assisted with the pursuit. Rogers ran into a nearby McDonald’s where he was arrested. The woman, also hiding out in the McDonald’s, wasย identified, interviewed and was then released without charges.

Rogersย will be arraigned in the Lawrence, Mass., District Court onย Sept. 3, 2014ย atย 8 a.m.

The vehicle was destroyed and had to be removed by two tow trucks. A utility pole was also damaged as a result of the crash.
