A Portsmouth oil supplier has filed a $4.7 million lawsuit against Fred Fuller Oil, claiming the Hudson-based home heating oil supplierย hasย breached a contract, according to Seacoastonline.com.

Spraque Energy Corp., an independent supplier of home heating oil, diesel fuels, residual fuels, gasoline and natural gasย wants toย seize the Fuller’s fleet of deliveryย vehicles as compensation.ย The suit was filed last week inย Rockingham County Superior Court by Sprague, which claims Fuller failed to pay for past oil purchases.

Fuller Oil is one of the largest home oil delivery providers in New Hampshire with more than 30,000 customers. In January of 2014 Gov. Maggie Hassan opened a statewide telephone hotline after receiving aย fury of complaints from Fuller customers who were not receiving oil delivery.

Sprague also wants interest on the amount due, plus attorney fees.
