
MANCHESTER, NH โ Four peopleย were arrested Oct. 9 following a six-week investigation resulting in and more than $10,000-worth ofย drugs and $3,600 in cash being confiscated.
Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division, alongside members of the Special Investigative Unit and Patrol Division, conducted the raidย on October 9, 2014 resulting in the arrests of:

Brothers Tommy Walsh and Donald Walsh, both age 44; Adi Melkic, 26; and Gregory Geneus, 33, all of Manchester.
A Special Enforcement detective had previously conducted a search warrant on a vehicle owned by Tommy Walsh, and the warrant was executedย last week resulting in theย seizure of heroin, cocaine and a 9mm handgun.

On October 8 Tommyย Walsh was involved in a brief motor vehicle pursuit and he was able to elude capture. The detective involved in the case completed an arrest warrant for Tommyย Walsh, who wasย located and arrested outside the McGregor Square, Rite-Aid parking lot at 3:30 p.m. on October 9.
At the time of his arrest heย was in possession of the following drugs: 24 grams cocaine (street value $2,400), 7 grams of crack-cocaine (street value $700), 2 grams heroin (street value $200), ย five 30 mg oxycodone tablets (street value ($150), as well as 30 30 mg. amphetamine tablets (unknown street value), scales, packaging materials, needles and more than $3,500 in cash.
Tommy Walsh was charged with five counts possession with intent to distribute on a warrant;ย ย three counts possession with intent to distribute; felon in possession of a firearm; and violation of bail conditions. He was arraigned Friday morning in Manchester District Court.
Walshโs brother, Donald Walsh, was also arrested at theย scene. He was charged with operating after suspension (electronic bench warrant), possession of a controlled drug-misdemeanor, (2.4 grams marijuana) and possession of a controlled drug, felony (.5 grams cocaine). He was also arraignedย Friday morning in District Court.

Adi Melkic was also arrested on scene. He was in possession of 5 grams of heroin (street value $500)ย andย charged with possession with intent to distribute. He was released Oct. 9 on $2,000 cash/surety and is due in court on Nov. 7.

Detectives continued the investigation after the initial arrests were made and ultimately arrested Gregory Geneusย whoย was picked up in the area of Silver and Lincoln streets during a motor vehicle stop. A drug-sniffing police dog made a positive “hit” on the vehicle which was impounded and searched. Detectives
located 57 grams of cocaine with a street value of $5,700. Geneus was charged with possession of a controlled drug.
