MANCHESTER, NH –Central High School graduate Ryan Day has been hired to replace Bill Musgrave as quarterbacks coach for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Day, 35, who was named New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year while attending Central High School in 1996, went on to play for UNH where he was a three-year starting quarterback under current Eagles head coach Chip Kelly.
According to the Philadelphia Eagles website, Day previously served as Boston College offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, and as wide receivers coach and graduate assistant on offense, among other positions. He also served as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Temple University, and also served as the Temple Owls wide receivers coach in 2006.
Day completed his collegiate career with four UNH passing records, including best passing percentage and touchdown passes in a career.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from UNH in 2002 and a master’s degree in administrative studies from Boston College in 2004.
Musgrave has moved on to serve as offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders.
