MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced today that Monarchs fans raised over $14 thousand in donations during the โ€œAt Your Serviceโ€ Dinner on March 16.ย  All proceeds from the event were donated to the Manchester Boys and Girls Club, Child Health Services and the Monarchs Care Foundation.

โ€œThis event was a tremendous success this year,โ€ said Michelle Gagnon, the Monarchsโ€™ Director of Community Outreach.ย  โ€œWe wanted to create an event that was fun for everyone, while also generating funds for some great causes, and we accomplished both.โ€

Monarchs players collected tips from fans throughout the event by serving dinner and participating in events such as thumb wrestling with Justin Auger, bubble hockey against Jordan Weal and a selfie station with Scott Sabourin.ย  The event was modeled after the Kingsโ€™ charity event known as โ€œTip-A-King.โ€

The first-place Monarchs will look to surpass the 100-point mark on Friday night when they host Portland at 7 p.m.ย  They have six regular-season games remaining, with three at home and three on the road.
