Fugitive of the Week: Peno sought in connection to Nashua murder by local, state, federal officials

MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force has joined the manhunt forย Stephan Daniel Peno, aย Nashua Police Department fugitive. Peno is wanted ย onย an outstanding arrest warrant for conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, & falsifying physical evidence.

These charges are in connection with Penoโ€™s alleged involvement in the events that led to theย death of Benjamin Marcum on March 12, 2015, in Nashua.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Peno has family and friends in both Nashua and Manchester, where he is believed to be inย hiding. It is possible that Peno has cut his hair and facial hair to avoid detection by lawย enforcement.

Anyone with information regarding hisย whereabouts or who may have seen aย person that resemblesย Peno, shouldย contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police. Do not attempt to apprehend Peno. Rather, report any information to the US Marshals Service district office at 603-225-1632 or call 1-877-WANTED-2. You can also text the words โ€œNHTIPโ€ along with any information to TIP411.

On April 14,ย NH Attorney General Joseph Foster issued a warrant for Peno’s arrest in connection with the stabbing death ofย Benjamin Marcumย on March 12, 2015, in Nashua.

Penoย has aย medium complexion, is about 5-foot-6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with green eyes and black hair. He has three tattoos: โ€œNFLโ€ on his right front arm; a skeleton/ghost also on his right front arm; โ€œ603โ€ on his left front arm.

Police believe itย is possible that Peno has cut his hair and facial hair to avoid detection.John Goff, a 17-year-old from Nashua, was arrestedย March 14 and charged with second-degree murder.
