MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating a serious crash late Monday night on Mast Road that left the driver with multiple life-threatening injuries.
At about 10:15 p.m. on May 18 police were called to the scene of a crash on Mast Road north of Hamburg Street where a 2010 Dodge Journey had left the road and driven over the sidewalk, striking a utility pole on the east side of the street.
The operator, who was the only occupant, sustained multiple serious injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to the Elliot Hospital. Police have not released the name of the driver pending notification of family.

Preliminary investigation suggests speed and alcohol are contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team.
