MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating an armed robbery Monday night at Crosstown Variety, 270 Amory St., after a stylish robber sporting white sunglasses and one orange glove got away with cash.
A robber with a knife entered the store at approximately 8:30 p.m. demanding cash from the clerk and then fled on foot with the money turned over to him.
The robber was described by the clerk as a white male, about 5-foot-5- to 5-foot-7-inches tall, thin build, light facial hair, wearing white sunglasses, a dark-gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and one orange glove, worn on his right hand.
