MANCHESTER, NH — According to the New Department of Transportation, the weekend weather forecast has the Turnpikes Bureau pre-treating the Everett Turnpike in preparation for the chance of light wintry precipitation beginning Friday and continuing through Saturday night.
The outlook, according to the National Weather Service, includes the possibility of light freezing drizzle, light snow, and sleet particularly overnight Friday into Saturday in Manchester.
In the bigger picture, light freezing drizzle or light sleet may fall across much of New Hampshire starting between 4 and 6 p.m. Friday. Along the coast it will likely be just drizzle or rain. Northern parts and higher elevations will likely continue to see freezing drizzle or light sleet. Saturday temperatures will go above freezing for much of the state and precipitation will likely turn to just drizzle. Sunday, expect rain for much of the state, with maybe some rain/snow mix in central New Hampshire.
