MANCHESTER, NH – Julie Lambert, 21, of Bedford, turned herself in at police headquarters Sunday night for her part in a botched robbery in which a 65-year-old woman used her handgun to shoot an attacker.
She appeared in court Jan. 11 for an arraignment, police said.
Lambert was one of four people involved in a robbery attempt Jan. 4 at 640 S. Porter Street.
She was wanted on a warrant charging her with conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the Jan. 4 botched robbery attempt that resulted in the shooting of accused would-be robber Michael Bontaites by his intended victim. Bontaites suffered a gunshot wound to his chest.
On Jan. 4 police arrested Zack Boyd, who was with Bontaites on the night of the alleged crime, on unrelated charges. Boyd was also charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Bontaites and Boyd will appear in the 9th Circuit Court on Thursday January 14.
Police are still looking for a fourth co-conspirator, Amanda Gurley, 26, no fixed address. In addition to the conspiracy charge, Gurley is also wanted for violation of bail conditions dating back to a September 2015 arrest.
