
MANCHESTER, NH โ Police investigating a crash late Tuesday night made an arrest, after one of the passengers was found to be wanted on a bench warrant, and then discovered drugs on him during the arrest process.
At about 10 p.m. on Jan. 19 Manchester Police Officer Derek Cataldo responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Mammoth Road and Lake Avenue.
He identified the occupants of each vehicle and realized one of the passengers, Andrew Saulnier, 28, of Derry, ย was wanted on an electronic bench warrant.ย Saulnier wasย transported ย to police headquarters.
Officer Cataldo located heroin and methamphetamine while conducting a search of Saulnier prior to arrest. He was subsequently charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug. He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 20, 2016.
