MANCHESTER, NH โ The public is invited to bring their ideas to a “listening session” set for March 4 at 5 p.m. at Hope for NH Recovery, 140 Central St.
It’s time for a community conversation on solutions to our city’s heroin epidemic and addiction crisis, and action steps that meet Manchester’s unique needs.

A panel of community leaders including Manchester Police Chief Nick Willard, Manchester Fire Chief James Burkush, Tim Soucy, Director of Public Health for the city, and Ward 3 Alderman Pat Long will join the session. Moderator will be Director of Recovery Support Services for Hope for NH Recovery, Holly Cekala.

The evening is not meant to be a time to air problems but rather come together to discuss solutions and action steps, barriers and possibilities, said Karla Gallagher, a center administrator and recovery coach. Also, progress reports willย be givenย on the move to the new community recovery center on Wilsonย Street, and a transitional center,ย Amber’s Place, also housed at 140 Central St.
Coffee and light refreshmentsย will be available.ย Contact Hope for NH Recovery with questions, at 935-7524.
