BEDFORD, NH —On January 9, from 6-8 p.m., the public is invited to Bedford High School’s DECA club first-ever Taste of Bedford fundraiser.
Taste of Bedford gives you the opportunity to sample dishes from 13 participating Bedford restaurants. The event includes crafts for kids, raffles, and live music to enjoy.
You can buy tickets for $10 each online or $12 at the door. Because this is a family event, there are also family ticket deals available. All proceeds will go straight to BHS DECA to offset competition costs.
DECA, for Distributive Education Clubs of America, is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing.

Taste of Bedford is the flagship fundraiser of Bedford High School DECA, one of the largest DECA chapters in the state of New Hampshire. DECA is a student business organization with members all across the United States and in global chapters. Starting with high school and middle school level chapters, DECA students prepare for business competitions held by DECA Inc. These competitions assess business knowledge, presentation abilities, and emulate atmospheres like those of professional business conferences. Students compete through business exams, case studies, interviews, and sales presentations. After competing at the New Hampshire competition, winning students move onto DECA’s International Career Development Conference, a global competition held at major metropolitan areas across the United States.
