Paws and sneakers will hit the pavement at Bagels & Biscuits 5K

MANCHESTER, NHย โ€“ Dogs and humans alike are looking forward to Temple Adath Yehurunโ€™s (TAY) fifth annual Bagels & Biscuits 5K Run and Walk for the Animal Rescue League (ARL) of NH. This unique, family- and dog-friendly event provides runners the opportunity to enjoy a competitive race along with their furry friends, while also supporting two great local non-profits.

โ€œThe Animal Rescue League of NH provides a variety of services and programs that help thousands of animals in the state,โ€ said Bagels & Biscuits Spokesman Jonathan Baron. โ€œIn partnership with this important organization, weโ€™re proud to bring the community together to enjoy the outdoors and to support a great cause.โ€

This spring may have kicked off with a series of snow stormsโ€”but that wonโ€™t stop hundreds of sneakers and paws from hitting the road. The 5K run and walk will be held at Derryfield Park in Manchester on Sunday, April 15, starting at 9 a.m.

โ€œWe have heard from many of our returning participants that Bagels and Biscuits has become their favorite way to start the spring season,โ€ Baron added.

Teams and individuals may register for the event online, or on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. Registrations submitted before April 13 will receive an early bird discount. Proceeds from the event will benefit TAY and the ARL.
