CONCORD, N.H. โ The League of NH Craftsmen have announced that this yearโs Annual Craftsmenโs Fair will take place from Saturday, Aug. 3 to Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, N.H.
Now in its 86th year, the summertime event is one of the oldest craft fairs in the nation, with more than 25,000 visitors on hand to enjoy the work of hundreds of the Leagueโs juried craftsmen, unique live demonstrations, one-of-a-kind crafts, innovative exhibitions, delicious food and live bands.
โThis is more than a shopping experience, itโs an opportunity to explore the world of fine craft making,โ said Miriam Carter, Executive Director of the League of NH Craftsmen. โAs a statewide arts organization and nonprofit, this is our yearly opportunity to celebrate our members and their extraordinary talent.โ
Visitors will be excited to see the Fairโs newest presentation Art, Craft & Design: The Exhibition; its visual experience is the perfect way to explore ideas for using fine craft in everyday life. In the Sculpture Garden, visitors will discover how to incorporate fine craft with plantings in their own gardens.
Admission costs $15 for adults; discounted rates for seniors, veterans, active duty military and large groups. Pets not allowed other than service animals. Children 12 and under can attend for free.
