MANCHESTER, NH — The third Annual Transgender Rally & Picnic will take place July 27 at Victory Park. The event is co-hosted by Rights & Democracy NH and ACLU of New Hampshire. The event is to celebrate transgender people in the Granite State and will include LGBTQIA and allied organizations.
There will be speakers, poetry, story-telling, celebration and music, provided by Manchester-based Transposition Vocal Ensemble, a chorus for Transgender people and allies. The group is always looking to bring new voices into the mix. There are no auditions and the main requirements are being transgender or transgender welcoming and to enjoy singing. The event will be held, rain or shine, and is free and open to the public. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. and the entertainment program will begin at 11:45 a.m.
