MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ Do You Know Your Neighbor? Join the conversation on diversity, equity and inclusion, a virtual community discussion that will include how faith leaders can better support the Black community.

The virtual event is planned for June 17 (Wednesday) from 7-8:30 p.m. Request an invitation via email at ย deo@deomwano.com

Today, we live in a divisive social culture, choosing a side or having one chosen for us. Recent tragic events magnify this divide. It shouldnโ€™t be this way. And it doesnโ€™t have to be. We begin to overcome our differences when we realize how much we are the same. We are all human.

Living in the same environment doesnโ€™t mean we truly know each other. And the gap between us can become even greater when it involves different ethnicities, races and socio-economic factors. This discussion is an opportunity to step out of our comfort zone, to be intentional in
overcoming the awkwardness and fear of talking to one another. If we learn how to listen without bias and to speak with curiosity, we can overcome the obstacles that divide us. We can become better neighbors.
