Any early morning travelers should be aware of freshly blown snow on roadways. Densely packed drifts can quickly cause vehicles to become out of control.

At elevations above 5,000 feet, northwest winds around 75 mph decreasing to around 60 mph in the afternoon. Chance of snow 30 percent. Wind chill values as low as 54 below.
