Nightmare on (the real) Elm Street: Check out all the spooky good fun this week

MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ ‘Twas the week before Halloween and Elm Street is jumping with spooky good fun that will get your heart pumping.

Below are some Halloween-themed events to get you into the spirit, all happening in and around Elm Street!

10/24/23 | 10 a.m.
Halloween Party at the City Library – A Halloween party for ages 1-5 years old the City Library Winchell Room 405 Pine St. We will listen to fun stories, play games such as โ€œPin the Boo on the Ghostโ€ and go on a pumpkin hunt. We will make a cute craft to take home. Come dressed in your costume! Registration is requested to make sure that we have enough supplies prepared for all. 6th Annual Boos and Brews, Bonfire Country Bar
Join us for our 6th annual Boos and Brews run or walk cemetery tour and warm clothing drive!!
START: Bonfire Country Bar, 950 Elm St, Manchester, NH
TIME: 5:45 p.m.
DETAILS: This ghoulish evening begins with a run or walk from the Wild Rover to the Valley Street Cemetery where Manchester historian, Stan Garrity, will lead us on a haunting cemetery tour. Following the tour, we will run or walk back to the Bonfire for post-tour fun. (This is not a timed event)
COSTUMES: Get festive and dress up in your favorite costume. The best costume gets a prize! Costumes are optional.
WARM CLOTHING DRIVE: We will collect warm clothing for the local shelter. New or non-stained and lightly worn used clothing is appreciated.

COST: FREE FOR CURRENT Run Walk Brew MEMBERS / $10 FOR NON-MEMBERS

Downtown Manchester’s Trick or Treat on Elm Streetย 
Kids come dressed in costume to trick or treat on Elm Street. Participating businesses line the sidewalks with candy and Stanton Plaza will have a DJ and fun activities. City Hall Plaza will host the Manchester Library’s Bookmobile giving away free books! Free.

10/28/23 | 12 – 2 p.m.
Trick or Treat at the Ballpark – Fisher Cats Stadiumย 

Grab your costumes and candy bags and head to the ballpark on Saturday, October 28 from 12-2 pm for aย FREEย Trick or Treat at the Ballpark! Get ready for trick or treating, costume contests, a dance party, and more!

AR Workshop – come andย enjoy aย spookyย good time!

Join us at AR Workshop for a DIY class to make one of our many Wood or Canvas Projects! Choose from signs, trays, boxes, frames, pillows, wall hangings and more! Each guest attending must complete their own registration, project sharing is not allowed during Family Workshops.ย  In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to customize your project with your choice of designer paints and stain colors.

Nightmare on Elm Street – Diz’s Halloween Party
Start your Nightmare on Elm Street Halloween Night Crawl at Diz’s! Join us for our 4th Annual Halloween Celebration and Costume Contest! Enjoy some Frightening Fare and Creepy Cocktails from our theme-inspired Specials menu to earn a spin on our famous prize wheel. The later you spin, the grander the prize! One spin per guest with qualifying purchase.
