Friday’s Weather

Mostly sunny, breezy, and cold with highs in the middle 30s. The brisk wind will make it feel like it’s in the middle 20s.

Weather Alert

A winter storm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service and is in effect for Saturday night into Sunday.
WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations greater than 6 inches possible.
WHERE…Portions of southwest Maine and central and southern New Hampshire.
WHEN…From Saturday evening through Sunday evening.
IMPACTS...Even light snowfall amounts can accumulate on roads and cause dangerous driving conditions due to snow-covered roads.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.

A nor’easter Saturday night into Sunday will bring wind, snow, & coastal flooding. The current track will likely give us heavier amounts of snow (7-13″) with wind gusts to 30-35 mph with blowing and drifting snow. Coastal New Hampshire will have beach erosion and coastal flooding with wind gusts to 40 mph.
