MANCHESTER, N.H. – On the first floor of New Hampshire’s tallest building, a new business has emerged and it is looking to become the favorite breakfast spot for those in the know.
On Friday, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for Café on 900 Elm, a breakfast and lunch takeout eatery in the City Hall Plaza building.
The café is operated by Heather Asang, current proprietor of Café on Commerce in Bedford. When Arthur Sullivan approached Asang to launch a second branch of her café in downtown Manchester, Asang jumped at the chance.
“I really wanted to be in this community, which has a very different vibe than Bedford,” she said. “In Bedford, I’m in an office park, while here you see residents, workers, City Hall people, really just a plethora of people who come in. It’s much more diverse.”
The Café on 900 Elm is open Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
