MANCHESTER, NH – The city’s CMOM Program Contract 5 Road Work Notice for Monday, August 18, 2025 through August 22, 2025. (CMOM stands for Capacity, Management, Operations and Maintenance programs, which help collections system operators identify where the system and organization are thriving and what areas need improvement.)

Time(s): FBM Materials (formerly Marjam) – 257 Mammoth Rd.:  7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday

                      South Porter St. – Near Roysan St.:
                       7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday

                      Rand St. – from Hanover St. to Crystal St.:
                       7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wednesday

                      Cypress St. – from Massabesic St. to Hospital Ave.:
                      7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursday & Friday

                     Lining Locations :
                     7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday to  Wednesday

 This notice is to inform residents and the traveling public that construction will continue on the following streets.

Road Closures & Work Details:
 
FBM Materials Lot – 257 Mammoth Rd.  Monday:  No Road Closures expected, some construction traffic on Mammoth Rd., repair of drainage culvert

1. South Porter St. – Tuesday:  No Road Closure, Traffic to be maintained through construction zone
2. Rand St. – Wednesday – Road closed at Hanover St. & Hiler St. @ Crystal St. – Local Traffic Only, installation of Catch Basin
3. Cypress St. – Thursday & Friday – Road closed from Massabesic St. to Hospital Ave. – Local Traffic Only, will maintain access to garage, no parking on street – new drainage installation

Lining Locations – Traffic to be maintained thru work zone or detoured as required:

1. 8/18 – Coldwell St., from Brown Ave. to end of Coldwell St.  (Lines 53)
2. 8/19 – Beech St., from Harvard St. to Hayward St. (Line 70)
3. 8/20 – Union St., from Prospect St. to Prospect South Back (Line 60)

Important Notes

1. Expect road closures and detours during construction hours.
2. Please follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time.
3. Parking will be prohibited within the construction area.
4. Residents will have limited access to and from their homes.
5. Whenever possible, we encourage drivers to avoid the construction area.
6. Residences/Businesses within lining locations will receive an advance notice and 24-hour notice prior to work.
