MANCHESTER, NH – A 58-year-old motorcyclist from Bedford died Thursday after a crash involving a commercial truck on East Industrial Park Drive.
According to a police narrative, on August 21, 2025, at approximately 4:08 p.m. patrol officers responded to the area of 344 East Industrial Park Drive for a report of a commercial motor vehicle versus motorcycle crash.
The driver of a 2025 Freightliner was traveling south on East Industrial Park Drive and initiated a right-turn into 344 East Industrial Park Drive. As the truck conducted the right-turn, a motorcycle which had also been traveling south on East Industrial Park Drive behind the Freightliner impacted the rear passenger side tires.
The motorcycle operator, a 58-year-old Bedford man, sustained life threatening injuries from the impact. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The operator of the Freightliner, identified only as a 34-year-old Manchester man, sustained no injuries.
The identity of the motorcycle operator is being withheld pending notification of his family.
