MANCHESTER, NH — On Sunday, September 7, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Manchester will host a public presentation by NH4Ukraine at 12 noon. NH4 Ukraine is an all-volunteer nonprofit, purchasing humanitarian aid in Ukraine and delivering it to areas directly impacted by the Russian invasion.
Founded by Bedford residents Brian Nolen and John Fitzgerald, NH4Ukraine began its humanitarian mission shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine. The organization is currently on the ground in Ukraine performing its eight mission to deliver aid to refugees from hard-hit areas and civilians near the front lines.
In his presentation, Brian Nolen will briefly illustrate the current situation in Ukraine, where the major cities are located, and where the impacts of war are severest. Places in the news will be connected to the current fighting and the plight of the residents. Photos and videos will show what it is really like near the front lines and how NH4Ukraine volunteers are helping in the war-torn areas. Brian’s presentation covers all aspects of the conflict in short segments, fills in information gaps, explains how US money is spent assisting Ukraine, and tries to dispel some of the disinformation in circulation.
