The Kickoff invites visitors to experience a little bit of everything at the museum.

MANCHESTER, NH –  The Manchester Citywide Arts Festival is closer than you think – one day closer to be exact.

The Currier Museum of Art is thrilled to host The Kickoff, a free community event and celebration on Sunday,  September 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is both a warm Currier welcome to new visitors and a warm  “welcome back” for those returning to the museum.

Similar to an Open House, The Kickoff invites visitors to explore a little bit of everything the museum has to offer.

• Pick up a passport at Guest Services to start your Currier journey.

• Earn stamps by participating in signature Currier experiences, from artmaking to close looking sessions.

• Complete your passport to be entered to win prizes for both kids and adults.

“The Currier is here to bring people together around art, this week and every week,” says Jordana Pomeroy,  Director CEO of the museum. “We’re a world-class art museum in the neighborhood, and we can’t wait to have you  over. Whether this is your first visit to the Currier or your hundredth, fill your passport with new possibilities and  connections.”

Start here at the Currier for your weeklong celebration of art and culture in the Queen City. This event is free, open  to all, and family friendly. No pre-registration is required. You can find more information on The Kickoff at www.Currier.org and more information at Manchester Citywide Arts Festival.
