Route 101 Eastbound Exit 2 on-ramp (Hooksett Road) week-long closure in Auburn starts Oct. 13

AUBURN, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be closing Exit 2 On Ramp from Route 101 Eastbound to Hooksett Road in Auburn, from Monday October 13, 2025, through Monday October 20, 2025. 

To support the pavement preservation and ramp reconstruction work on Route 101, the Exit 2 Eastbound on-ramp will be closed and a detour implemented.  Drivers will be detoured via Exit 2 Westbound on-ramp, then take Exit 1 Westbound off-ramp, followed by the Exit 1 Eastbound on-ramp to return to Route 101 Eastbound. 

Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and posted signs. Road users are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.     

Pike Industries from Belmont, NH is the general contractor for this $15.7 M Federal Resurfacing Program project which is expected to finish in September 2026.
