MANCHESTER, NH โ€“M&T Bank donated $20,000, along with 100 turkeys and fixings, to the New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, to support families in need this Thanksgiving. In addition to the monetary donation, volunteers from M&T Bank and the Food Bank prepared the packaged turkeys and fixings for distribution to local families.

M&T Bank also presented the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester with a $5,000 donation to support children and families facing food insecurity.

โ€œWe are grateful to M&T Bank for their generous donation and continued support, which is especially needed this time of year,โ€ said Elsy Cipriani, Executive Director, New Hampshire Food Bank. โ€œThe turkey donation, alongside the monetary contribution, will allow us to better serve New Hampshire residents and their families during the holiday season, specifically those who were impacted by the SNAP interruption during the government shutdown.โ€

New Hampshire Food Bank staff were joined on site for the turkey delivery by community leaders including Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais, M&T Bank Regional President Tim Wade, Catholic Charities New Hampshire President and CEO Thomas Blonski and Boys and Girls Club of Manchester CEO Diane Fitzpatrick.

โ€œM&T Bank is proud to support the New Hampshire Food Bank and the families of the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester during this critical time. This initiative helps stock the shelves of local food pantries and ensures New Hampshire families have nourishing meals. As more families face food insecurity, we believe no child or parent should have to worry about their next meal,โ€ said Tim Wade, M&T Bankโ€™s Regional President in New Hampshire. โ€œGiving back is at the heart of who we are. Through collaborations like this, we strive to break down barriers and meet essential needs bringing comfort, stability, and hope to the communities we serve.โ€

According to Feeding Americaโ€™s annual Map the Meal Gap study released in May 2025, nearly 150,000 New Hampshire residents experience food insecurity, with more than 36,000 of those being children. The study indicates 10.7% of all New Hampshire residents experience food insecurity, which is roughly one in nine people. Food insecurity rates for New Hampshire children have also steadily increased, rising to 14.4%.
