One person has died following an accident Wednesday morning on West River Road.
According to Hooksett police, the vehicles involved were a 2018 Kia Forte operated by Yediel Obeth Tavarez Villanueva, 25 of Manchester, and a 2017 Toyota Corolla operated by Derek Villiard, 31, of Manchester. Witnesses reported that the Forte was traveling south on West River Road and was seen swerving, prior to crossing the center line, striking the Corolla that was headed north.ย
Tavarez Villanueva was pronounced deceased on scene. Villiard was transported to the hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. Villiard also had a juvenile passenger who was unharmed.
The Hooksett Police Departmentโs Crash Reconstruction Unit was on scene for several hours, however the roadway has now been reopened.

One person has died following an accident Wednesday morning on West River Road.
On December 17th, 2025, at 7:21 a.m., Hooksett Police, along with Hooksett Fire and Rescue, responded to a motor vehicle collision on West River Road, south of Hackett Hill Road. Two vehicles were involved and one operator sustained fatal injuries. The other operator and passenger were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The Hooksett Crash Reconstruction Unit is on scene, and the road remains closed at this time. No identities will be released until next of kin can be notified.
