MANCHESTER, NH – Anticipation goes along with the dawning of every New Year. We wonder what will change, what will shift, where life will take us and whether the new year will be kind to us and those we love.

In the spirit of 2026 being yet unwritten – and just for fun – we’ve decided to do the only logical thing: Check in with three local soothsayers who’ve earned their individual reputations for assessing what otherwise seems like the unforeseeable future: Astrologer Dorothy Morgan, psychic medium Raven Duclos, and spiritual guide/numerologist Angie D’Anjou.

Here’s what they had to say:

Astrology 2026: The Courage to Begin Again

By Dorothy Morgan

Morgan

When people ask me what the year ahead looks like, I usually pause before answering. Not because I don’t know the astrology, but because some years feel louder than others. Some years arrive quietly. And some years, like 2026, feel like a clear turning point.

Numerology gives us one layer of the story. The year 2025 was a “9 year” (2+0+2+5=9) representing endings, release, and the completion of long cycles. Many people felt the weight of that energy, sorting through what no longer fit. In 2026, we move into a “1 year,’ the number of beginnings. One carries initiative, courage, and the willingness to start again, even when everything isn’t perfectly in place. This is one way to understand the shift, and astrology tells a similar story.

Astrologically, several major planets will be moving through new signs, and those shifts matter. When slow-moving planets change signs, they don’t just affect personal moods. They mark collective chapters that unfold over years.

One of the most important influences in 2026 is the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Saturn represents structure, responsibility, and reality. Neptune represents dreams, ideals, and sometimes disillusionment. When these two come together, especially in Aries, the sign of courage and initiative, we’re asked to turn inspiration into action.

This isn’t about fantasy or blind optimism; It’s about learning what actually works for you, trusting yourself enough to act even when the path isn’t fully clear, and having the bravery to begin anyway. Aries energy doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It moves forward because movement itself creates clarity, and each step reveals what’s possible.

Uranus continues its journey through Gemini in 2026, bringing change to the way we think, communicate, and take in new ideas. Uranus is the planet of innovation and disruption. In Gemini, it shakes up how we think, speak, and share information. New ideas surface quickly, and old ways of communicating may no longer feel effective. One clear example is artificial intelligence, which has moved from background curiosity to something front and center in everyday life. Whether people feel curious, cautious, or overwhelmed by it, this shift reflects a larger adjustment in how we learn, communicate, and make sense of the world around us. Curiosity becomes essential, and staying open helps us navigate the change.

At the same time, Pluto remains in Aquarius, a long-term influence that supports deep transformation around power, community, and authenticity. Pluto doesn’t rush. Its work is slow but lasting. In Aquarius, it asks us to examine where we truly belong and how we contribute to something larger than ourselves. It also asks us to notice the power struggles around us, how influence, control, and authority show up in our communities and relationships, and consider how we can navigate them with awareness and integrity.

Taken together, these planetary movements suggest that 2026 is less about looking back and more about choosing forward motion. The past few years have been heavy for many people. Uncertainty, change, and emotional exhaustion have been common themes. If you’ve felt stalled, disconnected, or unsure of your direction, you’re not alone.

What’s different about 2026 is the invitation to begin again without needing everything to be resolved first. Starting over isn’t framed as failure here. It’s framed as strength.

On a practical level, this may show up in small but meaningful ways. Reconsidering commitments that no longer fit. Letting go of roles you’ve outgrown. Making room for interests, relationships, or goals that feel more aligned, even if they don’t come with guarantees.

Mercury retrograde cycles in 2026 all occur in water signs, which adds another layer of emotional reflection throughout the year. Mercury retrograde periods are often misunderstood. They aren’t about things going wrong as much as they are about slowing down, reviewing, and resetting. In water signs, these periods encourage emotional clearing, honest conversations, and revisiting old feelings that need attention.

The eclipses in 2026 also act as turning points, highlighting areas of life where awareness and change are unavoidable. Eclipses tend to bring things into focus, sometimes suddenly, often clearly. They remind us that growth doesn’t always come from planning. Sometimes it comes from paying attention.

Ultimately, 2026 isn’t asking for perfection. It’s asking for participation. It asks us to be honest about what no longer works and brave enough to try something new. Even small choices matter now. Small beginnings have a way of growing when they’re made with intention.

As we step into this new year, the question isn’t whether change is coming. It already is. The real question is how willing we are to meet it with courage, curiosity, and a willingness to begin again.

The Year Ahead: A time of healing

by Raven Duclos

Duclos

What’s coming up over the next year for our nation, our world and our state? The information I’m getting is from the spirits. Please understand that as situations develop things can change but usually the timing and what happens is on point. A lot of things I was told begin in mid- to late spring. The time can vary.

In the USA a leader falls while trying to shine like a star. His strength is gone, so is his voice. He is soon gone, out of the picture. Those beneath him, but loyal to him, are beaten down. The celebration and self-righteousness of the political climate ends and justice is beginning to prevail. This will come forth in late spring 2026 and moving forward into 2027.

As it moves forward, politically, things will begin to right themselves and move back to a better version of its original self. Simultaneously, world unity forms like a brick fort, impenetrable and fierce. The tables are turned as positive outweighs negative.

The European Union adds to itself and others join their ranks. The time for negativity is over. Courts engage and give consequences. There is no stone left unturned. Some people are mourning their belief in the leader as all over the world peace rises. This will take time but it will happen.

Bloodshed during these transitions will be minimal but judging, much like now, will be at the forefront. The state will fall apart to be rebooted in a more amenable way. Life will return to some sense of normalcy and this will benefit all.

We’re at the beginning of a tumultuous phase that will lead to healing, caring and loving others and ourselves. This is a long road but each turn will bring a new benefit for humanity to the world, the U.S. and New Hampshire.

In late 2026 diversity will again begin to become the norm. Healthcare once again, will begin to be a top priority and taxes will be changed in a positive, more beneficial way.

With weather expect chaos to get worse before it begins to right itself. I’m hearing a five-year cycle. This is not going to be easy, although I feel the Northeast will not be hit quite as hard. The worst to get hit is the southern states this late spring and summer. Middle U.S. and eastern states will receive a lot of rain. The eastern states will also receive an earthquake in late April or possibly early April. I’m hearing 4.0.

The middle of the year will usher in more rain and some flooding particularly in the Florida, Louisiana and Georgia areas. Some of the most devastating storms will be toward the end of the year. Please prepare and keep your plants protected if possible through late June and into harvest season.

Expect things to mellow out late summer and pick up again mid fall. Toward late November through December multiple frigid air masses will be coming down from the north. Expect bouts of severe cold during this time.

This will be a roller coaster ride of a year but ultimately it will be good and we’ll be in a better place at the end of it.

On another topic, with the New Year arriving, now is the time to manifest what you want for next year. When you wake up on New Year’s day, before you get out of bed, visualize what you want your life to be like. Feel it at your very core. The joy, the complete lack of stress, the spiritual lift of your soul. And KNOW this is coming for you. Do this in the morning and at night before you fall asleep and have no doubts. This is what your life will become. Happy New Year.

Universal Year’: The World as it turns in ‘2026’

By Angie D’Anjou

D’Anjou

As we turn the page to the Universal Year “2026,” we must be prepared to have ambition, take action, and open new beginnings after lessons learned.

The Numerological Energy is “1” for the universal Year “2026″ (2+0+2+6=10=1).

The One Energy enables the Universe to embark on a new cycle of action toward self-independence. As many begin to establish their own self-worth, the world is in for a roller coaster ride. What hasn’t been addressed in the past will quickly face reality checks worldwide.

January ushers in greater cooperation and balance, opening many to more thoughts and expressions of communication as we move into the year. Many will begin organizing to build structures for learning and taking responsibility for family roots, and to bring empathy more into the picture. This will create a more ambitious flow across many regions, leading to greater balance in actions and disciplines.

Mid-year, people around the world will be balancing their success between spirit and form. There will be more time for all to reflect on the wisdom of truth and to allow this newly found knowledge to foster individual independence, accompanied by an understanding of what and how to serve.

As we flow into the Autumn, be prepared for a rough time of actions and attitudes becoming strong, in order for the world to achieve expressive communication, creating structured discipline and organization.

Keep in mind that the 10 Karmic energy is a true portal to new beginnings. Although it will influence this New Year of renewal, it will also bring closure to past patterns. It takes time to weave and encompass the world. Once it does, this will enable a rebirth of the world and an opportunity for all to recognize and affirm their true self-worth and independence.

In peeking into New Hampshire’s Personal Year during the 2026 Universal Year, there appears to be a similar energy as the Universe is experiencing.

However, Manchester, NH, is moving forward into a powerful “2” year of expressing communications, bringing in new projects, signing new contracts, and fostering community growth. Since all of this is active during a Universal “1” year, there is a strong opportunity to act and foster an atmosphere of ambition that helps the city thrive.

To get the most out of the year, Manchester must begin the new year by giving creative thought to how to communicate any necessary information to organize a structurally sound plan. By summer, the city’s compassion-based projects will be completed and ready to serve the community. As Autumn arrives, there will be more expressive thinking to pursue structure and discipline within the city’s organizations and groups, creating a strong capability to start the flow of what is necessary for the coming years. A great year of growth in people as well as in contracts that appeal to the city.

Nashua is the luckiest as the New Year brings in an air of luck accompanied by accomplishments in the issue that’s the city focuses on. The 8 personal year energy will open up more as February unfolds. January will be a time for closing down any projects that do not show promise. Once the city focuses on other more important issues the contracts will be rolling in by March. A small set back is okay since it helps with adjustments that need to be made in order to achieve the best outcome. As long as the city doesn’t bounce between too many goals at the same time it will have success as each month goes by. Plans and projects that are developed within this year of “2026” will show total success by “2028.”
