Cinde Warmington launches campaign for governor

Cinde Warmington
CONCORD, NH – Cinde Warmington on Wednesday announced her campaign for Governor.

“The prices of groceries, housing, electricity, and property taxes are crushing working families. And Kelly Ayotte is making life in New Hampshire even more expensive,” said Warmington, a former member of the Executive Council.

“Granite Staters deserve a Governor who’s going to fight for them and make this state more affordable for everyone.”In a video announcing her candidacy, Warmington took on Ayotte’s private school vouchers and more.

“Property taxes are through the roof. Why? Kelly Ayotte’s private school vouchers that take your tax dollars and give them to the richest people in our state,” Warmington said. “Then, there’s Kelly’s painful increases to Medicaid costs and co-pays on prescription drugs. And that’s on top of her going along with Trump doubling health care premiums.”

Warmington pledged to “fight for the people of New Hampshire, take on Kelly Ayotte, and stand up to Donald Trump.”

Warmington took aim at the state’s Education Freedom Account system.

“I’ll repeal the private school voucher scheme that’s damaging public schools and driving up property taxes. I’ll stand up to Trump when he jacks up health care costs and tariffs. I’ll say no to ICE’s warehouse and I’ll work for our small businesses and make sure we don’t have a sales or income tax,” Warmington said.
