The day is overcast and chilly, with a few light snow showers expected, potentially leaving a dusting of up to an inch on grassy surfaces. As the afternoon progresses, a brisk breeze will develop, making it feel even colder—around 37 degrees—despite a high of 45. Winds will shift to the northwest, gusting between 10 and 20 miles per hour or more, adding to the wintery chill in the air.

Stepping out this morning might be a bit of a shock, with temperatures starting in the 30s—along with some snow accumulating a dusting to an inch on grass. This burst of cold air will be one of the shorter wintry spells we’ve seen in recent months. By the latter half of the week, temperatures are expected to bounce back quickly, with highs reaching the 60s from Thursday to Friday into the weekend.
