Rising temperatures heighten brush fire risk
With temperatures climbing in the days ahead, the risk of brush fires is on the rise. Dry brush and fallen leaves are still scattered across the area, and the mix of sunshine, gusty winds, and low humidity will make it easy for fires to start and spread quickly. It’s a good time to be extra careful with power tools, open flames, or anything that could create sparks or embers.
