
CONCORD, NH โ Businesses and business owners from across the state will be recognized at the 2026 SBA Small Business Week Awards Celebration, Thursday, May 7.
Businesses and business owners from across the Manchester and Nashua area, as well as other corners of the state, were named as recipients of 10 awards from the New Hampshire Small Business Association were announced last week.
Thomas Hartley, of Hartley Transportation, of Pembroke, Small Business Person of the Year, is also in the running for the national title, competing against the winners of that award from other states and U.S. territories. That ceremony is the weekend of May 2-3.
New Hampshireโs winners will be celebrated from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, 2 Institute Drive.
They are:
- Small Business Person of the Year: Tom Hartley, Hartley Transportation, Pembroke
- Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year: Nick Mercier, Macy Industries, Hooksett
- Home-Based Business of the Year for NH and New England: Greg Wortman, Farm310, Allenstown
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year for NH and New England: Evan LaBelle, Autotiv Manufacturing, Salem
- Rural Small Business of the Year for New England and Small Business Manufacturer of the Year: Adam Lane-Olsen, Peter Limmer & Sons, Intervale
- Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year: Robert Markarian, Architectural Resource Center, Northwood
- Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year: Heather Gray, Gray Consulting & Therapy, Hampstead
- Small Business Exporter of the Year: Mike Tiner, Andover Corporation, Salem
- Micro-Enterprise of the Year, Anne Altor and Ed LaPlante, One Earth Body Care, Campton.
The ceremony is part of the U.S. Small Business Association Small Business Week, May 3-9, which recognizes small and locally-owned businesses across the nation.
