Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Concord Center, Concord, MA โ To celebrate Earth Day and OARSโ 40th anniversary, we are bringing the Wild & Scenic Film Festival to Concord, where 3 remarkable rivers meet and Americaโs roots run deep. In partnerships with friends and local organizations, we are hosting five days of community-focused events in and around Concord Center, including film screenings, art installations, guest speakers, outdoor walks, and a 3-day cross-town scavenger hunt. 2026 NAWCC New England Regional Clock and Watch Mart, Everett Arena, Concord, NH โ Exciting repeat of the 2024 and 2025 NAWCC New England Regional Meetings at the Everett Arena, 30 seconds off of I-93 in Concord NH, Exit 14 onto NH-9 East. Mart open to NAWCC members and guests from Friday, April 24 from 9 am – 4 pm. The Saturday, April 25 Mart, from 8 am – 12 pm, is open to the public and offers free “Roadshow”-style information about attendees’ old clocks and watches. North of Boston Book Trail, Boston, MA โ On April 25th, independent bookstores across the country โ including all 20 stores on the North of Boston Book Trail โ will be celebrating the 13th anniversary of Independent Bookstores Day! Visit your local bookstore for exclusive items, sales, and special events. (Activities vary by shop location.) The 38th Annual Celebration of William Shakespeare’s Birthday, Saint Anselm College, Manchester, NH โ Please join us on Wednesday, April 23, 10 am – 4 pm at the Gregory J. Grappone Humanities Institute for the 38th Annual Sonnet Marathon in celebration of William Shakespeareโs Birthday.ย If you are not scheduled to read, feel free to stop by for some free birthday cake and enjoy hearing students, faculty, staff, monks, and guests reciting Shakespeareโs 154 sonnets.ย This is a wonderful Anselmian tradition that marks the arrival of spring and gives voice to the songs in our hearts!

Congolese Community of New Hampshire, Manchester City Library – Winchell Room, Manchester, NH โ Our organization is active and vibrant, proudly celebrating our cultural heritage. This program serves as our yearly board meeting, which occurs once a year. This event will take place on Saturday, April 25 from 9:30 am – 1 pm.

Indie Lens Pop Up: The Librarians, Red River Theatres, Concord, NH – When Texas lawmakers move to review a sweeping list of books, librarians across the country find themselves on the frontlines of a growing national debate. The Librarians takes a powerful look at how library professionals, educators, and communities are navigating challenges to intellectual freedom, particularly around materials addressing race and LGBTQIA+ topics. With historical context and real-world stories, the film explores whatโs at stake for public access to information and the future of education. Stay after the screening for a post-film discussion with Dianne Hathaway, former Library Director at Goffstown Public Library.
